Hey skincare enthusiasts! If you’re someone who enjoys tone-up sunscreens but prefers something that works universally across skin types, lightweight sunscreens are definitely worth considering.

Here’s a look at six lightweight sunscreens I’ve been using and what I think about each of them!

1. Isntree – 4.5/5

I tried this one last year and was pleasantly surprised! Even when my skin felt sensitised, it handled this sunscreen well. It’s packed with hyaluronic acid, which is great for hydration, and the texture feels super light with no white cast. One of my top picks for all skin types.

2. Skin Aqua – 3.5/5

This one is budget-friendly and suits various skin types. However, people with sensitive skin might want to be cautious with it.

3. Etude (Soon Jung Line) – 4/5

Among the three sunscreens in the Soon Jung collection, this version stands out. Unlike the tone-up types, this one goes on clear with no white cast and has a gel texture that blends effortlessly into the skin.

4. Jumiso – 4/5

This formula also features hyaluronic acid, similar to Isntree. The creamy-gel texture can give a very mild tone-up effect, but nothing overpowering. Overall, it's a solid sunscreen for daily use.

5. COSRX – 4/5

Part of the same launch as COSRX’s retinol line, this sunscreen includes Vitamin E for added anti-aging benefits. The creamy texture feels light on the skin and doesn’t leave a tone-up effect behind.

6. Benton – 3.5/5

This one has a gel-like texture with a light green tint. Infused with Centella Asiatica, it’s ideal for calming sensitive or irritated skin. It’s soothing and absorbs nicely.

Lightweight sunscreens like these are a great addition to any skincare routine, offering sun protection without the heaviness or irritation. Have you tried any of these? Feel free to share your faves too!
