Have you ever thought about going on a cruise but weren't sure if it's really worth it?
Same here! 😂 Last month, I finally went on my very first cruise — and it was way more interesting (and cheaper?!) than I expected. Let me spill all the tea for you!
Cruise line: Royal Caribbean
Days: 5 days, 4 nights
Route: Miami → Nassau → CocoCay → Key West → Miami
Base cost: USD 550 per person
The ship was HUGE — restaurants, pools, cafes, spas, mini golf... even a zip line onboard.
We spent half a day just walking around exploring. It felt like a floating resort!
We picked a balcony room (+USD 200 extra).
Totally recommend it if you love waking up to ocean views! 🌊
If you wanna save, inside rooms can go as low as USD 400.
Buffets, fancy dining rooms, endless pizza — all included. 🙌
Specialty restaurants (sushi, steakhouse) were about USD 30–50 extra, but honestly? Free food already rocked. 🍕🍝
Free Broadway-style shows, movies under the stars, karaoke nights. 🎤
Spa treatments was extra (spa massage was USD 120, so... no thanks, lol).
Snorkeling at CocoCay: USD 89
Scooter rental in Key West: USD 45
You can also chill at the beach for free if you wanna keep it lowkey! 🏝️
Crowds at buffet lines (especially breakfast 😩)
Wi-Fi was USD 20/day and slooooow... but hey, a digital detox isn't bad!
Item Cost (USD)
Cruise base fare ~550
Balcony upgrade ~200
Excursions + extras ~150
Total ~900
Higher if you splurge, lower if you chill more! 😉
Absolutely YES — if you love the ocean, food, and fun, you'll LOVE it. 🛳️
It's like a luxury vacay without needing 10 different bookings. You just hop on and go!
